Job Description
Helps direct and educate school groups about the museum during their visit to the museum. Peak times would be considered during the months of September-November (fall semester) and February-June (spring semester).

Exploration Station Educator
Job Description
Helps run the station by encouraging interactive learning and teach visitors about the available activities.
Minimum Qualifications

- Retains knowledge about museum and all current exhibits
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and enthusiasm as you will be closely interacting with all museum visitors
- Ability to lead a large group

Gift Shop Assistant
Job Description
Helps operate the internal works of the museum gift shop alongside gift shop manager with cash register; organize displays, stocking merchandise, inventory, paperwork, answering phones, etc. Shifts are available throughout the day with a preferred minimum of three (3) hours.
Minimum Qualifications
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Retains knowledge about museum and all current exhibits
- Ability to run a cash register, telephone and display boards
- Capable of working with customers with any questions they may have about museum and merchandise

Special Events Assistant
Job Description
Helps create, implement and maintain special events at the museum. These events include events for the museum visitors’ such as Science Saturday, events for current volunteers’ such as the Recognition Banquet and fundraiser’s for the museum.

- Ability to work as a team and has the ability to take on projects wholeheartedly

Clerical Support/Receptionist
Job Description
Helps operate the internal works of the museum with paperwork, typing, answering phones, etc. Shifts are available throughout the day with a preferred minimum of three (3) hours.

- Ability to type documents within museum’s computer programs (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Capable of answering and learning telephone etiquette for the museum

Exhibit Presenter
Job Description
Helps run the mainframe of the museum by helping with museum exhibits by interacting with visitors, encourage experiential learning and promote science education. Presenters must also be willing to learn about the maintenance and repair of custom interactive exhibits, assist with weekly preventative maintenance and detail cleaning and assist with the development, fabrication and installation of new exhibits.

Job Description
The family integrators of the museum provide the opportunity for families and volunteers to interact with one another with all exhibits. Families help visitors feel welcomed and involved. Families play throughout the museum (mainly through your child’s preference). While playing, families should be aware of visitor’s around them, make conversation and invite others to join in play. Family Integrators help to bring the museum a welcoming face and encourages interaction with the exhibits.
